Why am I seeing a paywall?
Hit a roadblock? If you're seeing a 'Please Upgrade' message, it usually means you've reached a limit or are trying out a pro feature.
At TraderSign, we try to keep the basics available for everyone. However, some deep-analysis tools and high-volume sync features are reserved for our paid plans. If you've just seen a paywall, here's a look at why.
Common reasons for a paywall
1. You've reached a plan limit
Each of our plans has a limit on the number of trading accounts you can track. If you're trying to add a new account and see a paywall, you might have hit your current plan's cap.
2. You've discovered a Pro feature
Features like the Trade Replay, Advanced Filtering, and certain automated reports are only available on higher-tier plans. These tools are designed for traders who need deeper insights to refine their edge.
3. Your trial or subscription has ended
If you were previously able to use a feature but can't now, your account likely moved to a Read-Only state. This happens when a trial finishes or a subscription fails to renew.
Screenshot pending: capture a paywall modal example here once the account is in a blocked state.
What should you check first?
- Billing Status: Head to Settings → Billing to see if your subscription is still active.
- Current Plan: Check which plan you're on and see if it includes the feature you're trying to use.
- Usage Stats: See if you've maxed out your account count or other quotas.
How to move forward
- Upgrade: If you need the feature or more accounts, you can upgrade your plan instantly from the Billing page.
- Manage Usage: If you're at your account limit, you might consider deleting or archiving an old account to make room for a new one.
- Update Payment: If your subscription lapsed, updating your card will typically restore access immediately.
Trade Tip: If you're just looking to review your past performance and don't need to add new trades right now, you might not need to upgrade yet. Check out Read-only mode explained.
