Demo Data & Playground Mode

Explore TraderSign's features using sample data before connecting your live trading accounts.

Playground Mode provides a pre-populated environment with sample data, allowing you to explore dashboards, reports, and journal functions without a live broker connection.

Benefits of Playground Mode

• Dashboard Exploration: Visualize PnL metrics and performance charts.
• Journal Testing: Practice adding notes, tags, and execution details to sample trades.
• Reporting Preview: Review the analytical reports and deep-dive performance metrics available in TraderSign.

Identifying Playground Mode

You are in Playground Mode if the UI displays:

• Accounts labeled as Demo or Sample.
• A Playground Mode banner or status indicator.
• Historical data not associated with your actual trades.

Switching to Live Data

When you are ready to track your actual performance, clear the demo data to return to a fresh state. This is recommended before:

• Connecting MetaTrader or cTrader via auto-sync.
• Performing manual trade uploads or entries.

How to Clear Demo Data

1. Navigate to your dashboard or Settings.
2. Locate the Playground controls.
3. Select Clear Demo Data or Reset Playground and confirm.
